  1. MARIA POSTELNICU

    Born in Bucharest, she studied ballet at the age of eight at George Enescu Choreography High School. He worked at the National Opera House in Bucharest, where he played soloist roles and first ballerina in the most famous ballets in the universal repertoire (Swan Lake, Bayadere, Coppelia, Giselle, Don Quixote, Nutcracker, Carmen, Esmeralda, Romeo and Juliet , Fille mal Gardee, etc.). He has made several tours in Germany, Japan, France, Spain, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Russia, Bulgaria, Italy and Austria. He studied with professors of great national and international reputation as: Mihaela Craciunescu, Cristina Hamel, Amato Caciulescu, Lulu Ross, Raul Ercianu, M. Umrichin, Oleg Danovski, etc. He has celebrated the world of television and film in various television programs and has starred in the roles of the great Romanian directors Stere Gulea and Sergiu Nicolaescu. His films are still broadcast on Romanian national television. He taught classical ballet, repertoire, character dance in Germany, the Rhainland Phalz Institute and the International Dance Center in Italy. She has won numerous awards, together with her students, at various national and international competitions in Greece, England, Romania, Italy, Germany. Moreover, he also organized workshops with the first ballet dancer of the Bolshoi Theater (Russia) Irek Mukhamedov. In 2012 he received a recognition from the Bucharest Opera on the ninety years since the founding of the Opera and in 2013 won a Cosenza Prize. He currently lives in Paola (CS) where he teaches choreographic art, as well as in Italy, in Romania , Germany and Greece. From 2016 he is the artistic director of the camp and dance contest "San Francesco di Paola" together with her husband, George Postelnicu.
